When Hilda contacted me for family photos she casually mentioned incorporating her family's love for all things Star Wars. I immediately knew this was going to be one of the coolest families ever and I was stoked for our upcoming photoshoot. They definitely did not disappoint, between their zest for fun and their love for one another this was easily one of my favorite families yet.
I was thrilled when Sabrina reached out to me wanting family photos on the flight line of the Marine Corp Air Station in Yuma, AZ. Her husband is a fighter pilot in the United States Marine Corp and she wanted the images to incorporate his love for his family and his passion for his career. It was an honor and my pleasure to capture this moment in time for Sabrina and her family.
Cecilia + Kyle wanted some editorial style wedding portraits that captured their love in the raw natural beauty of the Sonoran Desert. After a little trip around the Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge, the third largest of its kind in the United States, we found the perfect mix of cacti, brush, mountains and ironwood trees to make their desert vision a reality.
After spending the evening with Danielle and Kyle to capture a beautiful sunset maternity session, I knew I needed to create something extraordinary for these two! They are easily one of the kindest couples I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Danielle is involved in Yuma Arizona's local art scene where she and her sister just opened up their very own Dance Company. Kyle is employed at The Vertical Church, a local Christian based ministry. It just so happened that
I was recently commissioned for a lovely trip to Riverside, California, where I got to meet and hang out with Richelle of LuLaRoe Richelle Bates VIP. She had reached out to me to help her create some marketing images specific to her needs as a consultant and I could not have been happier. I originally heard of LuLaRoe via Facebook over a year ago. I started where most people new to the brand do, with their trademarked buttery soft leggings and quickly escalated to their si
My husband went out last night to grab some ingredients for dinner and while shopping he decided to venture over to the toy aisle. He came home with a giant surprise for our 2.5 year old son. While I prepared dinner the two of them set up this huge bouncy castle in our living room. Of course I had to grab some pictures of the shenanigans! My 2.5 year old was running around in circles with excitement and was amazed as it transformed from this small folded up piece of plast
I met with Bee and her mother Chrystal for a fun filled Desert shoot this week inspired by the 1970's. I decided on a sunset shoot with rich golden hour tones and kept my edits deep with softened shadows and sharp highlights. I really looked forward to this particular photoshoot for the generational aspect of these images. Images that highlight the bond between mother and daughter. Most people interested in professional photography have started their collection with great we
I love when families invite me into their homes to capture their day to day activities. Lifestyle sessions are such a fun way to document you and your family in a relaxed no pressure way. It is especially beneficial for young children because they get to do whatever it is they love most. Avery loves playing Monopoly, reading stories and helping his momma make yummy grilled cheese sandwiches while his little brother enjoys rocking out on the drums with dad and eating all th
