Under the Weather | Yuma, Arizona

Today I am home here in Yuma, Arizona and my little man is feeling under the weather, so it's momma's homemade chicken soup to the rescue!  This recipe was passed down to me from a very good friend in New York who lovingly called this soup "Jewish Penicillin".  It was a recipe passed down to her by her Jewish grandmother from the Canarsie neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York.  This recipe has traveled with me through many states and cities over the years and the taste and aroma is a wonderful reminder of home.  I know with the right dose of this soup my little man will be up and running again in no time.
